Davy Jones is the tentacled-faced captain of the Flying Dutchman in Pirates of the Caribbean, a cursed sailor who ferries souls to the afterlife.

The cursed captain levels his sword out to one side, his tentacled beard spilling down over a barnacle-crusted long coat, the other arm ending in a heavy crab claw gripping a carved chest. He wears a wide-brimmed captain's hat, sash, belted waist, and ragged boots, his mottled hide pocked with barnacles. The base is a broken ship's deck with splintered planks and hull ribs, a bowsprit jutting out to one side.
