The spider bride cradles a long-necked lute in her lap, one hand poised on its strings, her painted smile serene beneath a crown of jeweled hairpins. Her layered kimono spills with web and spider motifs while colossal segmented legs arch around her from a patterned abdomen behind. The base is a gnarled rocky mound littered with skulls.
