Thanatos is the personification of death in Hades, a brooding and efficient reaper who competes with Zagreus for kills and shares a complicated bond with the prince.

The psychopomp drifts barefoot above a grave, his scythe resting along one arm while the other hand drips motes of light. A hooded shroud wraps his winged pauldrons, a skull-buckled belt cinching his robes over greaved shins. Wisps of soulfire curl around drifting skulls and a marker stone. The base is a stepped dais ringed by flames and a skull-carved tombstone.
