Varang is a character from the Avatar film universe, James Cameron's sci-fi saga set on the alien moon Pandora where the Na'vi fight to protect their world.
The ash-village leader levels a harpoon launcher overhead, her tail lashing behind her. A fan of layered plumes spreads from her brow above braided strands and a painted stripe down her sternum, bone charms and a fringed wrap dressing her tall frame, a canister rig strapped across her back. The base is a jagged mound of charred debris.
